Dream BIG Dreams!

In this current economic climate, there’s no doubt there may be a few additional obstacles to overcome in the day to day running of our businesses and our careers. There are also as many, if not more opportunities than there were six months ago. So now is the time to dream – and dream BIG!

Why Big? Because small dreams don’t work. Because the bigger the dream – the bigger the big picture – the more motivated you and those around you are going to be. Let’s take an example to illustrate this point.

If your dream – your big picture – was to increase your sales by 5% over the next six months, would that make any major differences to your career, your business and your lifestyle? Would increasing your sales by 5% have you so excited and fired up with enthusiasm that you couldn’t wait to get up in the morning and get working?
The answers to all those questions are almost certainly no.

But what about doubling your sales in the next six weeks or so. And then doubling them again. That’s a big picture. That’s a big dream and a big goal. That’s going to get you excited and motivated.

So whatever your dream is for your career and your life at the moment – make sure it’s a BIG ONE! And don’t forget the deadline!
