A Killer Technique to get yourself really focused on achieving your goals...

20 Jan 2009

This won't be new to anyone who has attended my Double Your Sales Masterclass, but in spite of the fact that I emphasise just how effective this is on the day, I know that with so many other 'killer' techniques you have to take on board, many of you forget to use it. So here's a reminder because this really is the simplest and most deadly effective technique I know to keep you focused and get you to where you want to be. You may recall I call this the 'ISWAT Technique'...

Whenever you are doing something or are about to do something, ask yourself this question:

'Is what I am doing now, or about to do, going to help me to achieve my primary goals?'

If the answer is 'no' - stop doing it or don't do it. Then find something to do that will.

The more times you ask yourself this question during the day, the faster you are going to achieve those goals. And as a reminder to ask yourself that question throughout the day, write it on a few self adhesive notes and stick them where you will come across them frequently.
