The Good News is…

Please help all my newsletter Subscribers and anyone else who visits my website…
I’ve lost count of how many people have e-mailed me or spoken to me in the last few weeks complaining about the constant barrage of BAD news in the media and from people around them. They want to hear or read some GOOD NEWS for a change. And I know you can help. So will you PLEASE!
Will you post a comment on this BLOG with some GOOD NEWS! Something - anything great that has happened to you. Maybe you closed a sale you weren’t expecting to; maybe you made an excellent new contact that you know you will be doing a lot of business with you in the future. Maybe you attended a great networking event and made some really useful new contacts. Maybe you attended a great workshop or master class and left feeling wonderful and inspired. Maybe you got a pay rise or promotion. Maybe you’ve beaten your sales targets. Maybe you just have some good news about other people to pass on. Anything business related will do that made you feel good. By doing so you will make others feel good too. Trust me – good news is contagious!! (as is bad news)!!!
Please do this EVERY DAY when something good happens to you. Please come back regularly and read other people’s posts and please PASS the BLOG address on to anyone you know who would benefit from reading some good news and can post some of their own.
Please be aware that each posting is vetted (there’s some very odd people out there who attempt to post some very weird comments or promotions) so it may take up to 24 hours before new postings and comments appear.
Here is my first piece of good news...
I’m very proud to say that I’ve just been asked to present my How To Double Your Sales one-day conference at the Institute of Directors in London for the 16th year running. It’s on the 14th May 2009. The only differences this time is that we’ve titled it How To Double Your Sales (Even In A Tough Economic Climate) and there’s quite a lot of great new material I’ll be presenting. Booking forms will be available on the IOD's website shortly.
