I challenge you (again)…

Here I go again – challenging people. And this time I’m challenging you to become World-Class in whatever you do – and to explain to why you should and how to do it.
I invest some of my time working with companies and their employees and helping to create an environment where everyone, no matter what their position, is constantly striving to become World-Class in their role. The benefits are extraordinary. Imagine yourself as World-Class. How much better would you be doing in your current role? How much happier and more satisfaction you would be getting from your working day - whatever that role is? Imagine everyone in your organization giving 100% +. Imagine never having to recruit from outside and having a team of people who are all worthy of promotion and having such a choice – without recruitment fees.
Becoming World-Class is easy – and particularly because most people settle for mediocrity. Here’s what you do…
Make a commitment to become just 5% better at what you do, every week. The cumulative effect will be that you’ll become 100% better within a very short space of time – you do the maths!
Whatever your role in life, you can Google it, Yahoo it – mostly for free. You can buy CD’s and DVDs on the subject and buy books on the subject. There’s a mountain of information out there to help you to get so very much better at what you do. The better you get, the more likely the promotion and /or increase in earnings. I’ve seen toilet cleaners become Head of Maintenance. I’ve seen admin staff become Managers. I’ve seen customer services people become Head of Customer Services, salespeople double and even treble their sales (the book on how to do it is here). I’ve seen sales managers become Sales Directors and I’ve seen business owners and leaders become extraordinarily more effective and build more successful and more profitable organisations. It does not matter what your current role in life is – you just should want to be better at what you do and greater success will follow – guaranteed!
So make the commitment – just 5% better each week. Get the material that will help you. Listen to it whilst your driving, read it in the bath, study it for an hour instead of watching TV, learn from it over lunch etc. etc. Just don’t settle for mediocrity. Make it your goal to become World-Class FAST! It’s so very easy and the benefits are incredible!
