I’m still selling most days in some way or another – aren’t we all? If we are not directly and solely employed to sell our organisation’s products and services, we are selling ourselves and our ideas to our team, to our customers, our suppliers, the press, our financiers, our shareholders and a host of other people. Everyone in business is in sales – or at least they should be!
So why not make a list of everything you do during the course of your working week and put an asterisk next to the items that involve you in selling. In fact why not have everyone in your organisation do this. Then take some steps to become better at selling them yourself and to helping others to become better at selling them.
Whatever it is you do, selling is as key part of the process of becoming a world class achiever.
