How do you know when you’ve made a poor sales presentation?

We all make them – I know I do occasionally.

It’s not necessarily because the prospect did not buy. We can fail to sell for many other reasons. It could be something as simple as they were just not a real prospect.

So how do I know if I made a poor presentation?

Here’s how …

I record them. Sales presentations and those I make to an audience.

I have a tiny Digital Voice Recorder that slips into the smallest of pockets and the little microphone is easily hidden from sight. I record my presentation and play it back afterwards.

Of course we often sound far worse to ourselves than we sound to other people – we are usually our own worst critic. But that’s OK. It makes me strive to be even better or at the very least – less worse.

And sometimes we sound great too, and can learn what worked well, so we can repeat it in the future.

And NO – I’m not on commission. I just want to help you to be the very best you can be.
