She asked me: “In one sentence Bruce, in less than 30 seconds, what does someone have to do to become a sales super star?”
I write best selling books on the subject and deliver sales seminars and sales master classes in 18 + countries, but I’d never had to reach more deeply into my mind to answer that question so succinctly. I replied …
“IT’S VERY SIMPLE – SELL MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE IN YOUR ORGANISATION AND BUSINESS SECTOR”
In case you might be thinking my response was too simple, trite, superficial or whatever, the question was ‘What’, not ‘How’.
The ‘How’ could involve hundreds of different aspects of the selling process and of course your attitude to selling.
Selling is a profession and like most other professions involves a process of CPD (continuous professional development).
After more 60 years in the sales profession, I still study and implement other people’s sales methodologies, I still attend other sales gurus workshops from time to time, and I still read many new books on sales, marketing, coaching etc.
That is HOW we get to be a super star and stay one.
